Maruti Suzuki Brezza EV rendered on video


Recently it was reported that the country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited is planning to expedite its electrification plans and is looking to bombard the country with electric vehicles in the coming years. According to reports the first model in the brand’s electric mobility journey would be its Creta rivaling EV SUV whose concept the (eVX) was showcased by the company at the 2023 Auto Expo. The company is also rumored to be working on the development of more EVs in other segments. So in an attempt to visualize what could be the electric iteration of its highly popular sub-compact SUV recently a popular digital artist shared a video of a concept of the Brezza EV.

The video was shared by SRK Designs – a popular digital artist who shares digital renditions of upcoming cars along with numerous reimagined versions of popular cars in the country. In the most recent video, the artist shares a behind the scenes footage of how he designs a concept for a forthcoming car. This time around the artist starts the creation of the Brezza EV with the base as the Creta rivaling eVX concept SUV. The artist starts at the front and first removes the Suzuki logo and creates a shadow of the car to give the digital image a depth.

He then proceeds to give the concept a lower grille and tweaks the design of the front end to make it look more purposeful and blends the new element. Following this he then re adds the Suzuki logo and makes a lot smaller and combines it with the front grille. After that the artist starts working on the side profile of the SUV and creates new panels. He gives the SUV new two more doors as the concept eVX had only two doors. He then tweaks the body lines and creates perfect gaps to make it look as real as possible.

The artist then changes the LED headlights and makes some minor adjustments to the windshield and front fascia. He then adds that the roof rails, door handles and different alloy wheels. Finally he goes over the design and tweaks small details of the SUV to make it more perfect. In the end he adds his own logo and presents what could be the electrified iteration of the subcompact SUV Brezza.

With its first electric vehicle (EV) scheduled for an India debut by 2025 and a total of six EVs slated for 2030, Maruti Suzuki is looking to step up its EV game. T he first product to be released will be an EV, built from the ground up with Toyota on an electric chassis. Despite coming late to the EV game, Maruti Suzuki plans to provide a variety of EVs in a variety of segments, with the first one being a Creta-sized rival as mentioned. The eVX, which is 4.3 metres in length and has a 60 kWh battery pack, is the spearhead of the electric onslaught. It has a 550 km range. It will be standard for all Suzuki EVs to include a front motor with regenerative braking.
