Hyundai India Venue sub-4 meter compact SUV overturns after hitting a bullock cart; Keeps passengers safe

Distracted driving can be very dangerous and even prove to be fatal in many cases. Here is a case of distracted driving that shows how distracted driving can cause accidents. Here is a Hyundai Venue, which overturned at a high-speed and still kept the passengers safe.

The video has been recorded from a dashboard camera of a car that was following the Hyundai Venue. The video from Thenkashi – Rajapalayam Road in Tamil Nadu shows a single lane road, which is relatively empty. The Hyundai Venue driver was doing around 40-50 km/h on the road.

In the video, we can see that the car that was recording the video sees the bullock cart and moves towards his right to make space. However, the driver of the Venue does not reacts at all and keeps on driving straight. The left wheel of the Venue hits the wheels of the bullock cart. Since the accident happened at a relatively high-speed, the vehicle loses balance and overturns. However, it stands right back on its wheels after the flip.

There were three passengers inside the vehicle and all of them came out safe. There were no injuries reported by any of the occupants.

The Venue shows minimal signs of damage and even the left A-Pillar, which took the maximum impact when the vehicle turned is intact.
