Mahindra is all set to write a new chapter in the history of the Indian automotive industry by unveiling five different all-electric SUV concepts under its Born Electric Vision. To be unveiled on 15th August 2022, these five SUV concepts have already been teased a few times in the recent past, however, all of these teasers were about the exterior design highlights and the silhouettes.
Mahindra has dropped another teaser, which has given a hint of in-car connectivity features which will be available in these Born Electric SUVs. The teaser shows a digital screen, which looks like that of an infotainment system and might be common to all the five electric SUV concepts. This digital screen will serve as a window to in-car connectivity features that all these SUVs will feature.

Advanced features in upcoming EVs
In the teaser video, it is shown that various functions of the car, such as adjusting the positions of the seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, music and ambient lighting. In the series of visuals shown in the video, other details such as the fast charging system and flat board architecture of one of the SUVs are shown. These two are the features which might be offered as standard in all the five all-electric SUV concepts from Mahindra.
In the previous month, Mahindra released a teaser video on its social media handles, which indicated the type of designs all these five SUV concepts will be wearing. This whole new lineup of SUVs includes a coupe SUV, a compact SUV, a mid-sized SUV, a mid-size coupe SUV and a fastback-like SUV. Among these models, the silhouette of the mid-size SUV looks much like the XUV700, indicating that it will be an all-electric version of the XUV700. In addition to this, the biggest among these all, the fastback-like SUV is the rumoured XUV900 which has been much talked about in recent times.
While Mahindra hasn’t revealed many details of these SUVs, these five all-new electric SUVs will receive production forms which will be launched in the duration of the next five years. Apart from these pure-electric SUVs, Mahindra will also launch the XUV400 electric SUV, which is the all-electric version of the popular XUV300 to take on the new-age electric SUVs like Tata Nexon EV Max and MG ZS EV. The new XUV400 is already being tested on the Indian roads, and the test mule indicates that the model is production-ready, which might get launched before the end of 2022.
