Ola Electric CEO claims Zomato delivery boy saved 1 lakh in 9 months by using S1 Pro electric scooters for 50,000 Kms

Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of one of the biggest electric scooter brands in the country that is Ola Electric recently shared a picture of himself with a Zomato delivery partner sitting on his Ola electric scooter. The interesting part about this interaction was that the CEO also claimed that the Zomato delivery partner saved around Rs 1 lakh by driving his Ola EV scooter in just nine months.

The CEO shared the picture on Twitter via his official handle and stated, “Met Santosh at a traffic junction. Very enterprising guy! Owns 2 @OlaElectric scooters and has driven more than 50000 kms! Drives the second one when the first is on charging at our hyper charging station. Has saved more than ₹1 lakh in just 9 months!”

As mentioned it was revealed by the Zomato rider to the CEO that he owns two Ola electric scooters and uses one scooter at a time when the other one is charging. The CEO emphasized that the Zomato delivery partner has driven more than 50,000 kms on both of his scooters.

If the claims are true than its an amazing feat because with these rising fuel costs it makes a ton of sense to buy electric two-wheelers to use in the city bound traffics. The cost of charging an electric two-wheeler is significantly lower than refueling ever so often.
